...but there is a reason....

I recently got connected to an admirable man named Jacob Hanly. He is one of the most skillful, brilliant songwriters I've heard, let alone get to know. From the depths of his heart, with layers of truth beneath each song, his lyrics are sincere, and thought provoking, releasing a message of hope to convict or sustain you. I've admired him as a musician more than any other gradually over the past year, and I'm [honored] to get to do what I am about to tell you:

In the beginning of April 2009, I got to sit down with Jacob for coffee for the first time. We've subtly known each other since September 2008, but we've not actually got to [sit] and [know] each other. During this coffee meeting, it came about to show him my paintings..
...... and he fell in love.

In an instant he became my #2 fan and asked me if I would create his album artwork for his debut album, "A Matter of Time."
Obviously I said yes.

In January of 2010, Jacob is recording an album through Forerunner Music ([link]). He is 28 years old and has been writing music for the majority of his life. He has years of song-writing beneath him and this is his first album....
...and it's profoundly precious to him...
and he asked me to partner with him to complete the masterpiece.

If all goes well, the album should be released in April/May of 2010.....or a few months after. I really have no idea how long it takes to record, press, and release an album. All I know is he is starting to record in January of 2010, and the album is going to go at least Platinum.

Currently we are getting a website made, and Jacob is recording a track or two to give out as "these are what is coming" tracks.
I will post this site as soon as it is up and running on the web. Keep a look out.....

P.S. Some of you out there may know the name of Misty Edwards......? She is going to be singing with Jacob on one of his tracks. So for all of those Misty fans, you better get the cd when it comes out
